GLOBAL SWAP EVENT, LOS ANGELES

Produced and hosted this Fashion Revolution Week event in partnership with Fashion Revolution USA, Global Fashion Exchange, and The Riveter. The program included a sustainable fashion panel featuring Lisa Mazzotta (River Blue), Nicholas Brown (Fashion Revolution), Eleanor Amari (Remake), and actress/activist Toks Olagundoye, plus screenings of River Blue and Made in Mexico. The event also featured a Swap Society clothing swap with complimentary eco-styling.

SUSTAINABLE FASHION FORUM

Spoke at the Sustainable Fashion Forum hosted by Fashiondex and LA Textile at the California Market Center in Los Angeles. Joined industry leaders from Google Cloud, Levi’s, Remake, and more to explore digital and tech-based solutions driving sustainability across the fashion value chain.

FASHION REVOLUTION WEEK PANEL

Joined founders from Christy Dawn and Atelier & Repairs to explore circular fashion solutions—from regenerative systems and waste reduction to reuse and long-term wear. Moderated by Bonnie Wright and Georgia Stockwell of Waste Watch.

REMODE LOS ANGELES

Partnered with Global Fashion Exchange to host an on-site clothing swap at ReMode—the premier global event for sustainable and disruptive fashion. This interactive activation invited attendees to exchange garments and engage with circular fashion firsthand. The swap was part of ReMode’s experiential programming, which featured immersive installations, ethical fashion showcases, and sustainability-focused innovation across the industry.

REMAKE WORKSHOP

Led a workshop in partnership with Remake on how to safely and sustainably swap clothing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The event supported Remake’s #NoNewClothes campaign, encouraging conscious consumption through secondhand and circular fashion practices.

GLOBAL SWAP EVENT, LOS ANGELES

Hosted the first Swap Society pop-up swap event in partnership with Fashion Revolution and Global Fashion Exchange, supporting the global campaign to divert 1 million pounds of clothing from landfill in 2018.

WOMEN IN RETAIL LEADERSHIP CIRCLE

Spoke on the “Retail’s New Normal” panel alongside fellow founders and executives to discuss the evolving consumer landscape, sustainability, and the role of technology in retail. Shared how Swap Society leverages data to manage a dynamic inventory of secondhand clothing and expand access to sustainable style. Hosted by the Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC).

MADE by DWC: THE SUSTAINABLE IMPACT OF THRIFT

Joined a panel hosted by MADE by DWC, the social enterprise of the Downtown Women’s Center, to discuss the environmental and personal benefits of thrifted fashion. The conversation explored how secondhand shopping supports sustainability while empowering individuals to define their personal style. Panel moderated by Syama Meagher of Scaling Retail.

FAIR TRADE FASHION SHOW

Teamed up with Global Fashion Exchange to host a clothing swap at the Fair Trade Fashion Show in Los Angeles. The event supported our mission to divert 1 million pounds of clothing from landfill by engaging attendees in a hands-on circular fashion experience.

CLOTHING SWAP + FAIR TRADE POP-UP

Co-hosted a community clothing swap and fair trade pop-up in partnership with the NYC Fair Trade Coalition, Fair Trade LA, and Fair Trade Long Beach. The event invited attendees to exchange gently used clothing and shop ethically made goods, promoting conscious consumerism and sustainable fashion in Los Angeles.

CEREPLAST MAKE YOUR MARK EVENT

Conceptualized, produced, and led the “Make Your Mark” campaign to introduce the first industry symbol for bioplastics, generating 2,100 design submissions, 5.5 million public votes, and 511 million media impressions. Produced the launch event at the Herman Miller Showroom in Los Angeles, bringing together industry leaders and environmental advocates to spotlight bioplastics as a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based plastics.

NASDAQ OPENING BELL, CEREPLAST

Joined the Cereplast executive team at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to ring the opening bell. The ceremony marked the company’s listing on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the symbol CERP and celebrated Cereplast’s commitment to advancing bio-based, sustainable alternatives to petroleum-based plastics.
